Rabbi Yehoshua Karsh

Listen as we dig deep to find the obstacles many of us face in connecting to tefilah. Rabbi Yehoshua Karsh holds an M.Ed in Guidance and Counseling and is a Brisk Yeshiva High School graduate. He spent 17 years in Jerusalem teaching at prominent institutions like Ohr Somayach and Neve Yerushalayim. In Chicago, he served as Director of Outreach at the Chicago Community Kollel, where he co-founded the Torah Learning Center, now based at the Northbrook Community Synagogue. Currently a Rabbi at Darchei Noam of Glenbrook, Rabbi Karsh blends his counseling expertise with extensive teaching to inspire students to connect spiritually to Judaism. He lives in Northbrook with his wife, Tzippy, their four sons, and enjoys time with his grandchildren. https://torahlearningcenter.com/

Rabbi Ben-Tzion Shafier

Rabbi Ben-Tzion Shafier is director of the popular website theShmuz.com. He is a happily married father of six children, grandfather to four and lives in Monsey, NY.  A rumor, that I may or may not be the originator of, is that Rabbi Shafier is a world class pickle ball player. He can be contacted through his social media pages and would love to hear from you!

My Mother

My mother, Ruth Jaffee A"H was only 44 when she became paralyzed, and only 60 years old when she died. This is our story and the hardest lesson I learned.
